The following parents have volunteered for the Parent School Advisory Council executive:

The SAC meets monthly.

First meeting: 7:00 PM, Thursday September 9, following the Meet The Teacher evening and BBQ (for parents and staff only, please), which starts at 6:30 PM. The meeting to follow will be the Annual General Meeting, where we fill the executive positions: Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer and Secretary.

Next meeting: 6:30 PM, Wednesday September 29, when the SAC/Pac will conduct business as usual supporting the students and staff at St. Mark as well as looking at ways of keeping St. Mark a viable junior high in the community. Please come out and support our school. We welcome Boris Radyo, Assistant Superintendant and Becky Kallal, Trustee, to our meeting.

April 2010 Update on closure.

The last casino was held Tuesday, January 5th and Wednesday, January 6, 2010. This is our only regular fundraiser for the school. The funds from the casino GENEROUSLY provide for your child directly by subsidized field trips and transportation, library books technology, Science Academy, athletics and band programs . . . and more.

Thank you to all the parents, families and community who generously give of their time to help the St. Mark school community.
